As a rapidly growing establishment, we are seeking an experienced Auto Body Shop Painter to help us maintain our high standards and provide exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces. Mix and match paint to ensure accurate color matching. Apply paint and clear coat using spray guns and other equipment. Inspect finished work for quality and ensure proper blending and finishing. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of protective equipment and proper disposal of hazardous materials. Collaborate with estimators and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs. Maintain documentation of work performed and materials used. Continuously update skills and knowledge of new painting techniques and equipment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an automotive painter in a body shop or collision repair facility. Strong knowledge of paint mixing, application techniques, and refinishing processes. Familiarity with various painting tools, materials, and equipment. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a flat-rate pay environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, standing, and lifting heavy equipment or materials. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
