The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and be proficient in using various tools and techniques to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for repairs and refinishing. Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed. Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer as necessary. Apply paint using spray guns and ensure a high-quality finish that meets dealership standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto body repair techniques. Experience Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in auto glass replacement and auto painting is a plus. Familiarity with using both hand tools and power tools effectively in an automotive setting. Experience working in a dealership environment is advantageous but not mandatory. A commitment to detail and quality workmanship is essential for success in this role.
