About Us:
We are a well-established, high-volume collision repair facility known for our quality work, integrity, and excellent customer service. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced and customer-focused Body Shop Estimator to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Body Shop Estimator, you will be the first point of contact for customers in need of collision repair services. You’ll be responsible for writing accurate estimates, communicating with insurance companies, and guiding our customers through the repair process with professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess vehicle damage
- Write detailed, accurate repair estimates using estimating software (CCC ONE preferred)
- Communicate with insurance adjusters and handle supplements
- Explain repair process and costs to customers clearly and honestly
- Coordinate with body technicians, painters, and parts staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow up on repair status and keep customers updated
- Perform final quality checks with the team before delivery
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry repair procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a collision estimator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes
- Proficiency in estimating software (CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex, etc.)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- I-CAR certification or willingness to obtain preferred
