The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive preparation and painting, along with the technical skills necessary to perform high-quality bodywork. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including body prep, dent removal, and panel replacement on service bodies. Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs effectively. Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces. Apply paint finishes using spray guns while ensuring a smooth and even application (mainly single stage paints). Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential. Knowledge of auto restoration techniques is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients. A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are advantageous but not mandatory.
