Painters Helper

• Collision Shop Stateline Collision Center LLC Kingsport, TN 37665

Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces
• Work with paint team to assist in keeping vehicle on track for scheduled delivery time
• Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a smooth finish
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Experience:

• Previous experience in auto painting or paint prep is required (2 year minimum)
• Knowledge and experience of prepping, sanding, and buffing is required
• Familiarity with repair shop environment
• Basic understanding of auto estimating and detailing

Skills:

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently Please note additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. This is an hourly position. Pay based on experience.
