Body Shop Technician Position Available In Chittenden, Vermont

Body Shop Technician RR Charlebois, Inc. Milton, VT 05468 We are looking for a highly capable, dexterous auto body technician to join our expanding team. The auto body technician’s responsibilities include liaising with customers to ascertain their needs, performing restorations and modifications, and observing safety regulations. You should provide a pleasant, efficient service to customers throughout this process. To ensure success as an auto body technician, you should be able to operate all pertinent equipment with ease. An outstanding auto body technician will recommend additional services that may be valuable to customers. Review each repair order and estimator’s notes to understand repairs needed prior to beginning work on the vehicle. Prepare and repair vehicles per estimate according to manufacturer standards De-trim, disassemble and repair vehicle with a sense of urgency and attention to detail Maintain/assist with identifying, and or, sourcing parts and material Maintain tools and equipment in a proper state of repair Previous body shop or military equivalent experience preferred This position will require extended periods of bending, kneeling, standing, sitting and squatting This position will require lifting, carrying and pushing of materials (over 50lbs) Ability to withstand fumes/chemicals, changes in weather conditions (within reason) Must be able to wear protective equipment including respirator
