Job Description
As a Car Electronics Installer, you’ll lend your technical talents to installing new technology into customers’ vehicles. In this role, you’ll follow established procedures for rmending, troubleshooting and installing mobile electronics specific to each vehicle. You’ll also automotive technology advice, best practices and rmendations with clients and other employees. Internally, this role is known as an Autotech Agent.
What you’ll do
Install standard mobile electronic solutions including T-harness remote starts, speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers and in-dash units
Verify vehicle make and model andmunicate anypatibility concerns prior to installation
Use provided guides to identifypatible mobile electronic products andplete installation projects
Provide a high level of customer service
Acquire and maintain required certifications
Basic qualifications
Current, valid driver’s license
Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy’s safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents)
Preferred qualifications
Prior experience installing car electronics
Prior retail experience
