The Highlights:

Aaron’s Home Tech is looking for a new installer to join our team! You’ll be wiring and installing TVs, speakers, networks, security, camera systems and more in high end homes throughout the Atlanta area. We don’t require direct experience but do someone who is handy and good with tools. Starting pay is $18-$25/hour depending on experience. Must have clean background check and good driving record. Will report to office in Fayetteville daily.

The Detailed Job Description:

Prewire homes and buildings with low voltage cable for TV, speaker, network, security, fire and control, including RG6Q, CAT6, CAT6A, 16/4, 16/2, fiber, 22/4, 18/4, etc. Terminate and test wires at head end location and endpoint using meters and toners Install, service, and repair electronic equipment including: TVs, Speakers, Distributed Music and Video Systems, Home Theaters, Security and Fire Systems, Camera Surveillance Systems, Access Control, Lighting Control Systems, Motorized Shading, Home Networking and Wifi Calibrate and test equipment using meters and tune or adjust equipment for optimum performance according to specifications, manuals and drawings Read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams, function block diagrams, specifications, engineering drawings and service manuals Build and populate equipment racks in an organized fashion for a professional aesthetic and future serviceability Program automation systems for simple, intuitive operation by customers Make service calls to repair units in customers’ homes, return units to shops for major repairs or replace units Disassemble entertainment equipment, repair or replace loose, worn, or defective components and wiring and reinstall Confer with customers to determine the nature of problems or to explain repairs Keep records of work orders and relay information to office
