We’re a small, growing used car dealership that sells clean, affordable vehicles — mostly Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Acura, and Lexus. We do things right and take pride in the work we put out. Now we’re looking to add another solid mechanic to the team.
What We’re Looking For:
We need a reliable, experienced tech who knows how to diagnose issues, knock out repairs, and handle parts & estimates using Mitchell1. You’ll spend a lot of time going through auction cars and getting them ready for the lot, but also need to pivot quickly when customers roll up with issues that need attention. If you’re the kind of person who can think on their feet and doesn’t mind a little chaos now and then, you’ll fit in just fine.
Day-to-Day Stuff:
Check out and diagnose auction cars — figure out what they need to hit the lot. Use Mitchell1 to estimate jobs and order the right parts. Handle customer vehicles as needed (walk-ins, small jobs, surprise repairs). Do a bit of everything — brakes, suspension, diagnostics, general repairs. Keep the work area clean and stay on top of parts and job status. Communicate clearly with the owner and other team members.
What You Need:
At least 3 years of real-world shop experience. Comfortable with Mitchell1 (estimating, ordering, repair info). Strong diagnostic skills — electrical, mechanical, no guessing games. Can handle pressure and jump between cars without drama. Valid driver’s license and solid driving record. ASE certs are nice, but not required if you’ve got the skills.
