We are seeking a highly skilled Shop Foreman / Lead Automotive Technician to oversee daily operations in our service department, lead a team of technicians, and ensure timely and accurate vehicle repairs.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on technician who can diagnose vehicles, lead a team, interact with customers, and run the shop efficiently . The ideal candidate will have excellent diagnostic skills, leadership experience, and their own tools.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across a variety of makes and models Supervise and support technicians to ensure quality and timely repairs Serve as a point of contact for customer questions and service updates Maintain workflow and prioritize jobs based on urgency and business needs Uphold shop safety, cleanliness, and organization Ensure all work meets Holmes Motors’ standards for quality and reliability Communicate with management regarding parts, job status, and employee performance Mentor junior techs and help train new hires

Requirements:

Proven experience as an automotive technician (diagnostic experience required) Must have tools to perform the job Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to communicate clearly with both customers and team members Valid Driver’s License (required) Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic Strong time management and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Schedule:

Pay:

$25.00 – $33.00 per hour (based on experience)

Full-time (40 hours/week)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts (No weekends)
