• Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Inside Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers in our service department.

• Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Certification in heavy-duty truck and trailer repair. Proven experience as a service technician in the heavy-duty truck industry. Strong knowledge of truck and trailer systems, engines, and components. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and customer service skills.

• Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Perform scheduled maintenance services on trucks and trailers. Inspect vehicle systems to identify issues and recommend solutions. Test drive vehicles to ensure proper performance. Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance. Adhere to safety procedures and regulations. Stay current with advancements in heavy-duty truck technology.

• Work Environment:

• This position will primarily be based indoors in a service bay setting. The role may also involve occasional interaction with customers and other team members. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift heavy equipment when necessary.
