Job Overview:

As an Express Automotive Service Advisor, you will be an integral part of our service team, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and facilitating seamless interactions between customers and our service department. Your role involves providing accurate vehicle assessments, recommending necessary repairs and maintenance, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival to the service department. Listen actively to customer concerns and vehicle issues, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs. Conduct vehicle inspections and assessments to identify maintenance and repair requirements. Provide accurate and detailed information about recommended services, explaining benefits, costs, and timeframes clearly to customers. Generate and explain service estimates to customers, obtaining their approval for required repairs and maintenance. Schedule service appointments, coordinating with the service team to ensure timely completion of tasks. Maintain effective communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on the status of their vehicles. Liaise with the service technicians, ensuring a smooth flow of information and accurate completion of work orders. Address customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and handle any issues that may arise during the service process. Ensure accurate documentation of customer information, service details, and transaction records. Collaborate with the parts department to ensure the availability of necessary components for repairs and maintenance. Provide exceptional customer service, fostering positive relationships and earning customer trust and loyalty. Assist with maintaining a clean and organized service reception area. Willingness to work in a team environment Rotating Saturday schedule required (possible Tues – Sat schedule for qualified applicants)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or related field is a plus. CDK Experience preferred but if used to other DMS programs we will teach you. Prior experience in customer service, automotive service, or a related role is a must. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers. Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components. Proficient computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced and demanding situations. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences.
