Clean Harbors in Wheeling, WV is seeking a Class B Driver(Retail Technician) to provide comprehensive environmental servicesincluding collection and disposal of damaged, discarded, orrecalled products; recycling of light bulbs, oil, oil filters,engine fluids and other materials; and on-site cleanup activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure Health and Safety is thenumber one priority by complying with all safe work practices,policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner Pick up,pack and transport damaged and discarded goods management, andrecalled products Load, pack and segregate materials and wasteproducts Driving a Box Truck, visiting retail customer sitesSegregating, packing and loading materials and waste products(inventory that is damaged or expired) for safe transportationInteracting with customers at each stop Prepare DOT shippingdocuments Use of a laptop, printer, handheld, and iPhone tocomplete tasks Conduct projects/jobs according to site specificFederal, State and local regulations and health and safety plans aswell as Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc., policies andprocedures Executes Jobs at Clean Harbors customer locationsincluding fortune 500 companies Responsible for final preparationand approval of all projects before shipment in accordance withOSHA, EPA, DOT and company policies Conducts projects/jobsaccording to site specific Federal, State, and local regulationsand health and safety plans Understand customer specific disposalrestrictions/special packaging requirements Ensures drum count iscorrect and that drum conditions are shippable in accordance ourcompany’s policies and procedure Follow all local, state(provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules Safelyoperate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state(provincial) and federal requirements Safely observe all corporateoperating guidelines and procedures Observe all companyenvironmental health and safety operating guidelines Perform otherduties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s licenserequired Strong customer service skills The ability to use alaptop, handheld, printer, and iPhone are required By position,eligible to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsementwithin 6 months of hire, company paid Perform physical functionsper job requirements Successfully complete a background check, drugtest, and physical, by position Per OSHA’s Respiratory Protectionstandard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiringrespirators are required to meet facial hair standards.
