The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive diagnostics and repair, particularly within a dealership environment. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive service, schematics, and the ability to align complex systems for optimal performance. The Master Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately. Execute repairs on various vehicle systems, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to conduct repairs efficiently. Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used. Collaborate with service advisors to provide clear communication regarding vehicle status and repair needs. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards. Provide mentorship and training to junior technicians as needed. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair, with a focus on dealership operations preferred. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and the ability to interpret schematics effectively. Strong skills in auto estimating and familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
