TheAdvanced Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance asassigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards and buildsCustomer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence inAutoNation as a care-giver for their vehicle safety andreliability. Who Would I Interact With? This position interactsdaily with Customers, Service Advisors, other Technicians, PartsAssociates, Cashiers, Sales Associates and Managers, just to name afew. What are the day-to-day responsibilities? Performing vehiclerepair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order withefficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factorystandards to drive Customer loyalty. Communicating with PartsDepartment and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manageproduction and Customer communication. Diagnosing the cause of anymalfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the Customer.

Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriaterecommendations to ensure safety and reliability of Customervehicles. Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repairorder. Maintaining an inventory of normal Technician’s tools notnormally inventoried by the Service department as “special tools.”Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating infactory-sponsored training classes as appropriate. Providing anexceptional customer experience to drive loyalty How will I know ifI am successful? The performance of a Advanced Technician ismeasured by achieving: Targeted production Targeted sales TargetedCustomer Satisfaction Index What are the requirements for this jobHigh School diploma or equivalent 2 years experience as anautomotive technician Automotive technical training (varies basedon store needs) Attention to detail Organization and follow-upskills Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain anacceptable, safe driving record What are the opportunities forcareer growth?
