All related components and equipment will be serviced in accordance with company manuals, procedures, and regulations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of air conditioning parts on buses, in accordance with the applicable maintenance manual or other approved technical data. Document all maintenance performed in accordance with regulatory authority requirements and company guidelines. Assist in the control of parts used in repairs, warranty returns, and claims in a timely and orderly manner. Maintain the shop work area, tools, equipment, and facilities organized as needed. Perform other duties as required by the Bus Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Director. Participate in the Safety Management System.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a vehicle air conditioning experience and knowledge check.
• 2 years of experience in air conditioning maintenance.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot vehicle air conditioning systems; reconditioned aftermarket and original vehicle systems with technical knowledge.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivation, integrity, cooperation, professionalism, and leadership. Ability to stoop, bend, and manipulate tools in confined spaces.

Preferred Skills:

2 years of experience in vehicle air conditioning maintenance is a plus.
