un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Commercial Kitchen Hood Technician (Deerfield Beach) HD Service Division compensation: $25-$30+ per hour based on experience, ability, and knowledge employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Service Technician We are seeking a skilled and reliable technician for full -time work in South Florida.
Responsibilities:
Performing routine and emergency repairs, and maintenance of Exhaust Fan, Supply Fan, Ductwork, Motor, all other parts of hoods and rooftop systems. General Requirements for this role often include:
- Travel to customer sites using company vehicle
- Complete detailed service reports of what has been done or needs to be done for quote
- Mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair
- Familiarity with cleaning and repair techniques for commercial kitchen systems (Exhaust and Supply Fans)
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently and with attention to detail
- Good communication skills, and good attitude and respect towards customers and office staff
- Ability to work in various shifts: including evenings (some weekends as needed)
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
- Willingness to travel to different job sites (east or west coast in Florida) Training will be provided if needed.
