The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and effectively. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair automotive systems. Execute automotive service tasks including engine repairs, transmission work, and diesel engine repair as needed. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle status and recommendations for maintenance. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in vehicle maintenance and repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service. Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment for vehicle repairs. Familiarity with auto estimating processes is a plus. Ability to weld and perform diesel engine repairs is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
