Job Description
Remedy Staffing looking for a Mechanic with advance skills in performing maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on production and facility equipment. This role will be on the Southside of Jacksonville.
Shift :
Sunday – Thursday 11:30pm-7:30am
Pay :
•to be discussed during interview• essential job functions & responsibilities: Follow all company policies and safety procedures. Perform daily machine change overs, as required by production. Fabricate, modify, build and re-build machinery and equipment parts and molds to ensure proper and efficient operation. Operate small equipment (forklifts and man lifts), as required. Assist with inventory levels. Work closely with Engineering on machinery and equipment issues. Work on special projects, as needed. Perform and document machine and equipment Preventive Maintenance. Perform electrical, plumbing and facility maintenance, as required. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Work extended shifts and/or weekends, when necessary.
education and experience requirements:
Trade school certificate or Associate degree, plus up to 4 years of electrical and mechanical experience.
