Job Description
Vehicle Inspection and Installation Tech 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars Jacksonville, FL 32206 We are looking for an experienced associate to conduct functional checks on various models of new vehicles. You might also be cross-trained to install accessories like paint film, electronics, and bolt-on torque products according to Manufacturing guidelines.
Requirements:
- Able to complete Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) inspection of vehicles; including inspecting and preparing the vehicle to ensure readiness for sale.
- Mechanically inclined & comfortable with using tools, including torque wrenches and willing to wear required safety equipment.
- Responsible for care of tools furnished by Southeast Toyota.
- Perform special assignments as requested by management.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team production environment.
- Can easily adapt to changing weather conditions and willing to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
- Willingness to learn multiple installations within the organization, including but not limited to paint film, electronic and bolt-on torque related accessories.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed written instructions in English, to consistently apply Toyota Motor North America and Southeast Toyota Distributors installation procedures for a large variety of accessories.

- Be quality-minded and detail-oriented with a willingness and ability to meet safety, quality and efficiency objectives.
- Able to read, write, comprehend and pass a written assessment to ensure retention of detailed work instructions in English.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Work effectively with teammates and with limited supervision.
- Able to lift 35-75 pounds independently, stand for extended periods of time; crouch, bend and twist constantly.
- Exceptional housekeeping and organizational skills to align with 5S initiative.
- Valid driver’s license required; ability to drive manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Saturday will be required if scheduled due to the workload.
- Excellent work and attendance record with demonstrated flexibility to work overtime and alternate assignments as needed. Punctuality and excellent attendance are important in this role.
- Willingness to work periodically upon request at any of our locations in Jacksonville based on production needs.
- Previous mechanical or automotive experience preferred.
- Willingness and ability to obtain a TWIC badge.
