The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with expertise in various systems including powertrain and electrical systems. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction through thorough diagnostics and repairs. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair automotive issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical system problems. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems. Conduct repairs on diesel engines as needed. Collaborate with service technicians to address customer concerns effectively. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership or repair shop setting. Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and practices. Familiarity with powertrain systems, automotive electrical systems, and diesel engine repair is preferred. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification is a plus.
