The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring that all automotive service needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This role requires a solid understanding of automotive repair processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to upsell services effectively. Duties Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs. Provide detailed explanations of services required and recommend additional services based on vehicle condition. Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and services, ensuring transparency with customers. Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services and repairs. Maintain customer records and service history in the dealership’s system. Follow up with customers regarding their service experience and address any concerns. Promote dealership services through effective upselling techniques. Stay updated on automotive technology trends and dealership offerings to provide informed recommendations. Qualifications Previous experience in an automotive repair environment or dealership setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive service processes, including auto estimating and repair procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Proven sales skills, particularly in upselling automotive services. Ability to transmit information clearly and accurately while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A background as a mechanic or in automotive sales is a plus but not required.
