ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
(RESPONSIBILITIES): This position is responsible for identifying mechanical problems, testing parts and systems and performing both basic and advanced maintenance of vehicles Must be able to work all scheduled hours, including Saturdays and overtime when required. Ability to access all areas of vehicles to correctly diagnose problems and perform all repairs. Correctly disassemble and reassemble parts. Capable of utilizing power tools including, but not limited to, pneumatic wrenches, lathes, and jacks and hoists. Also able to use common hand tools such as sockets and ratchets, wrenches and pliers. Additional duties as required. .
Requirements:
Must be 18 years-old or older Have a valid Driver’s License High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) Open to technicians with basic entry level experience. Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service. Able to explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors. Acceptable verbal and written communication skills. Able to carefully follow directions, checklists and established procedures. Willing to adhere to all Warranty, federal and state agency and company compliance processes with regards to repair, hazardous materials, disposal and safety. Able to Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
