Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and sales skills to provide exceptional service while helping customers understand their vehicle’s maintenance and repair requirements. Duties Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs. Provide detailed explanations of services, repairs, and maintenance options available for their vehicles. Utilize service writing skills to accurately document customer requests and vehicle issues. Collaborate with service technicians to diagnose problems and recommend appropriate solutions. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition, enhancing overall customer satisfaction. Maintain a thorough understanding of tire service, brake repair, auto body repair, and general automotive repair processes. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns. Keep accurate records of all transactions and customer interactions in the system. Experience Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience: Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and repairs. Previous experience in automotive sales or as a service technician is preferred. Familiarity with service writing processes to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians. Experience in upselling services while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of tire service, brake repair, auto body repair, and general automotive repair practices is a plus.
