JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION
Shop Maintenance Position
OVERVIEW
Assist when needed in fleet and building maintenance responsibilities, maintain cleanliness of shop, and operate within the limits of a budget. This position reports directly to the Fleet and Maintenance Manager.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the maintenance and appearance of the fleet of vehicles Responsible for the maintenance of and appearance of the buildings and landscaping Assist in maintaining service records on all equipment Follow State and Federal laws in regards to vehicle safety Follow State and Federal laws in regards to work shop safety Assist in maintain MSDS on ALL chemicals that are brought into the shop Assist in handling all vehicle accidents at once Be able to troubleshoot and repair “light” mechanical problems Assist in service calls Be able to perform vehicle and equipment safety inspections Ensure that all registration and insurance information is current and present in all vehicles Adherence to safety rules and policies Performs other duties as required
