Automotive Service Writer Madison Automotive Service & Repair 1411 South State Road 53, Madison, FL 32340 “`Duties“`

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
• Create repair orders and estimate costs for vehicle repairs
• Communicate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Upsell additional services or maintenance packages to customers
• Provide updates to customers on the status of their vehicle repairs
• Coordinate with parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions “`Requirements“`
• Experience in a similar role as a Service Writer or Service Advisor preferred
• Knowledge of diesel engine repair, auto estimating, and vehicle maintenance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to upsell and promote additional services to customers
• Familiarity with dealership operations and procedures
• Basic understanding of automotive systems, including shocks, struts, and tires
• Sales experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
