Experienced Automotive Technician Weikert Ford Lake Wales, FL 33859 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with experience in diagnosing and fixing vehicles by replacing worn parts or making necessary adjustments, all while adhering to manufacturer standards and safety procedures; essentially ensuring the proper functioning and longevity of vehicles by addressing mechanical and electrical issues. The Automotive Technician will work closely with Service Advisors to ensure customer vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring adherence to dealership standards. Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify issues with automotive systems. Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding customer vehicle’s needs, providing clear explanations of repairs and maintenance performed. Stay updated on training for the latest Ford technologies and repair techniques to enhance service quality. Experience 3+ Years Experience Required. Previous experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or similar environment is Required. Experience with Ford vehicles Preferred. Transmission diagnostic and rebuilds Preferred.
