Team – Keep Our Fleet Running Strong STARFLEET, a trusted local family-owned business, is seeking a dependable Mechanic Helper with a CDL Class A or B license to support the maintenance of our growing fleet of trucks and trailers. This full-time role includes occasional overtime and provides room to grow with a company that values hands-on talent and team players.

What You’ll Do:

Perform routine preventative maintenance on semi-trucks, trailers, and light-duty vehicles (oil changes, filters, brakes, etc.) Conduct basic mechanical repairs including engine, hydraulic, and transmission service Adjust brakes, repair tires, and troubleshoot minor electrical issues Travel to job sites for on-site fleet service when required Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments Ensure all vehicles meet DOT and company safety standards

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience in diesel, truck, or fleet maintenance (preferred) Valid CDL A or B license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends Physically able to lift, bend, push, and pull as needed Clean driving record and able to pass drug/background checks
