Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Strong buffing and polishing skills Ability to spray a variety of paints and finishes Must have experience cutting and buffing polyesters, urethanes and acrylic clear coats Apply primer, top-coat paint, and any spray-applied coatings to detailed parts, sub-assemblies and major assemblies of vehicle exteriors to customer or company specifications and industry quality standards Polish and wax finished surfaces by cutting and buffing finished surfaces Familiar with and have operational knowledge of department tools Perform moderately complex to complex filling operations related to the cosmetic appearance of the part being worked Remove excess material and prepare the surface for finishing Perform masking operations Seek methods to cross train to develop technical skills and business knowledge
