Job Description
Car Lift Service Technician/Installer Automotive Lift Experts Sanford, FL 32771 The Service Technician/Installer position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of automotive lifts and shop equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the functionality and safety of automotive equipment across various settings, including dealerships and private garages. Technicians will be responsible for troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to work orders, all while promoting the brand and services offered by the company. The position offers Full time Position, competitive pay, and opportunities for training and advancement. Responsibilities Repair and install automotive lifts. Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance. Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion. Work towards completion of the Automotive Lift Institute Inspector Certification Program. Promote the brand and sell automotive equipment and services when appropriate. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements High School diploma required. Valid Driver’s License required. Experience in an automotive repair shop or garage is helpful. Professional experience as a maintenance technician, HVAC technician, or diesel mechanic is a plus. Technical degree or certifications in a related field preferred, but not required.
Nice-to-haves ASE certifications are a plus. Knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, and/or hydraulics. Basic knowledge of the fuel and lubricant industry is helpful. Knowledge of industrial, automotive, commercial, mining, and construction industries is a plus. Ability to read schematics and use appropriate testing devices proficiently. Uniforms provided.
