Diagnose and repair issues to •Carrier Units & 2024 Thermoking units. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace defective parts, such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, fans, hoses, belts, and electronic controls.
Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed manufacturer’s specifications and company standards.
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation regarding maintenance and repairs.
Manage inventory of parts and supplies.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and professionally with drivers and fleet managers.
Stay up to date with the latest industry technology and repair techniques through ongoing education and training.
Assist other Technicians as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Talent Requirements608 Certification preferred. Experience with TRUs (Transport Refrigeration Units) preferred. Thermoking and/or Carrier factory certifications preferred. Understanding of transportation refrigeration operation and microprocessor control systems.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Basic computer skills as it applies to diagnostic tooling.
