• Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled and dedicated GM Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and maintenance, particularly with GM vehicles. As a GM Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and delivering excellent customer service.

• Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of GM vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and other issues.
• Diagnose vehicle problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks according to GM standards and specifications.
• Replace or repair defective parts as needed, ensuring the quality and safety of the vehicle.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations for vehicle maintenance.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Stay updated on GM technology, training, and repair procedures.

• Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technology program is preferred.
• Certified as a GM Service Technician or willingness to obtain certification.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with GM vehicles.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronics.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
