Job Description
Auto Parts After Service Specialist 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars Register, GA 30452 We are seeking a detail oriented After Service Parts Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory of service parts, ensuring timely availability for customer repairs and maintenance. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset to support our after-sales service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory levels of service parts to ensure timely availability. Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as necessary, coordinating with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery. Conduct regular inventory audits to prevent stock discrepancies and manage inventory discrepancies effectively.
Order Processing:
Process customer orders for service parts, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment. Prepare and maintain documentation for incoming and outgoing parts, including shipping and receiving logs. Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure efficient picking and packing of parts for shipment.
Customer Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding parts inquiries and order status. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues related to parts availability and delivery. Collaborate with service technicians to identify parts requirements for repairs and maintenance.
Data Management:
Utilize inventory management software and databases to track parts availability and usage. Generate reports on parts usage, trends, and inventory levels to assist management in forecasting and planning. Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and customer interactions to ensure compliance and assist in service improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in parts management, inventory control, or customer service in an automotive, machinery, or related industry. Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems.
