EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN

We will provide all necessary training ! ServiceStar is currently seeking to fill an open Repair Technician position and for the right applicant. This is an outstanding opportunity for motivated and talented applicants! As a Repair Technician , you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a broad range of commercial cleaning equipment for our large customer base in the Greater Atlanta Market and surrounding areas. For this particular position you must possess a positive attitude, superb verbal and written communication skills, great customer service skills, and a go-getter attitude. You must also be able to communicate well over the phone and be able to work independently without constant supervision. Basic computer and technology skills needed for documenting and closing out service calls. On occasion, overnight trips may be needed. We’re looking for exceptional people with the following skills: Small Engine Repair, Automotive Repair, or other experience and technical aptitude Strong attention to detail and a problem solving mindset Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner Ability to lift 80+ lbs. Quick learner Required Skills and Competencies Any mechanical repair experience qualifies – Janitorial equipment repair experience a plus but not mandatory. Troubleshooting and repair skills in mechanical and electrical systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and fill out service-related documents and paperwork. Basic computer skills. Basic tool inventory. We will provide any specialty tools that are needed. Clean driving record Quick learner Ability to pull a trailer, loaded with equipment, behind a work van/truck Education Requirements
