Automotive Service Advisor Knight’s Garage 1321 Martha Berry Blvd NW, Rome, GA 30165 Overview We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring they receive exceptional service and expert advice. Your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales within our service department. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive at the service center. Assess customer needs and provide accurate recommendations for automotive repairs and services. Utilize your mechanical knowledge to explain technical issues in an understandable manner to customers. Manage service appointments, ensuring timely communication regarding vehicle status and updates. Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs and vehicle condition. Transmit repair orders to technicians clearly, ensuring all necessary information is included for efficient service execution. Align customer expectations with service capabilities while maintaining a focus on quality and satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback effectively to foster long-term relationships. Experience Proven experience in automotive repair or service advising is preferred. Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with automotive sales processes, including upselling techniques. Mechanical knowledge that allows for effective communication of technical information to customers.
