Automotive Technician Rome Auto Repair Rome, GA 30161 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose issues with vehicles using automotive diagnostics tools and equipment. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, suspension and electrical systems. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete repairs. Align wheels and perform other adjustments to ensure proper vehicle handling. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high standards of quality. Skills Proficient in mechanic skills with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices. Experience in diesel engine repair is a plus. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics techniques and tools. Ability to effectively use power tools for various repair tasks. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
