Role:
The Technician positions will travel regionally to perform various tasks related to automotive calibration, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and audio systems in vehicles. This role requires 100% travel, with deployments ranging from 1-2 weeks for smaller jobs to 4-7 weeks for larger projects
Responsibilities Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure successful completion of services Installation and Setup (low voltage) : install network cabling and infrastructure including fiber, patch panels, switches and routers, security systems, audio visual equipment Installation and Setup (telematic): Install telematics devices, including GPS, vehicle tracking systems, and wireless communication equipment in vehicles. Ensure proper integration with the vehicle’s onboard diagnostics and electrical systems
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and upgrade software and hardware as needed
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and upgrades. Prepare reports on system performance and customer feedback
Quality Delivery:
Ensure timely submission of deliverables and maintain high-quality standards 12 volt vehicle upfitting / outfitting of utility vehicles, taxis, school buses, transit buses and a variety of other commercial vehicle types Installing GPS antennas, DVRs, Monitors, external system recording triggers, and exterior and interior cameras Who we are looking for: We are looking for a professional team member with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Specifically, we are seeking individuals with expertise in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) who can install, maintain, and troubleshoot ADAS components such as cameras, sensors, and radar systems. Experience with vehicle diagnostics and integration of ADAS technology is highly valued. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Calibrate ADAS components, including cameras, sensors, and radar systems, ensuring proper integration with vehicle systems. Familiarity with vehicle electrical and electronics Strong technical knowledge of ADAS systems, vehicle diagnostics, and audio systems. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Technical diploma or certification in electronics, automotive technology, or related fields (preferred). 3+ years in the field of automotive calibration, ADAS technology, or vehicle audio technology (preferred). Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools (preferred). Previous experience with ADAS systems, vehicle electronics, and audio systems (preferred). Working conditions/ Physical requirements Ability to work both in the field and in an office or workshop environment Requires travel to client locations or vehicle sites Physical ability to work and fit in different settings, including tight and confined spaces, or working in uncomfortable positions Prolonged periods of standing, walking, crawling, kneeling, crouching Must be able to alternate from sitting to standing at will with the ability to climb steps/ladders while balancing at alternating heights Ability to perform all physical duties to complete installation, including lifting 75 lbs and 35 lbs overhead, reaching at or below shoulder level, pushing and pulling Manual dexterity and fine motor skills Good vision to read diagrams, manuals and detailed work Ability to hear and speak and understand instructions and communicate effectively.
