$20 – $30 per hour (based on experience) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Car Wash Maintenance Technician to join our team, covering the regions of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. This role is crucial in ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of automatic and self-serve car wash equipment. Key Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair car wash equipment, including motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, control panels, and chemical delivery systems. Conduct routine maintenance to ensure all car wash components are functioning properly and safely. Perform preventive maintenance , including cleaning and lubricating mechanical parts, adjusting equipment, and replacing worn components. Respond to service calls in a timely manner to address equipment failures or malfunctions. Install and set up new car wash equipment as needed, following technical manuals and manufacturer guidelines. Maintain a detailed record of service reports , parts inventory, and maintenance schedules. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with car wash owners and managers, explaining repair needs, and recommending maintenance best practices. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to improve service quality. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in car wash maintenance, installation, or a related field. Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repair techniques specific to car wash systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams . Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a reliable track record of managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned region (GA, SC, NC, TN, VA). Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications Technical or vocational certification in mechanical, electrical, or automotive repair . Previous experience with specific car wash systems .
