Loop Road, McDonough, GA 30253 Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of automotive issues, primarily focus on post collision technology. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive top-notch service and their vehicles are operating at peak performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in using diagnostic tools. Responsibilities Perform thorough diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot powertrain problems effectively. Conduct auto estimating to provide accurate repair costs and timelines to customers. Collaborate with service technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality repairs. Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Communicate clearly with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition and necessary repairs. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Skills Proficient in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair Strong background as a service technician or mechanic, with hands-on experience in automotive service. Excellent customer service skills, capable of explaining technical information to clients in an understandable manner. Familiarity with ADAS components, body shop experience a plus Experience with auto estimating processes for accurate repair assessments. Competence in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a dealership environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
