We are the future of electrolyte production, the future of second-generation lithium batteries, and the future of electric motor vehicles Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing regular maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on company vehicles, ISO tanks, chassis, and facility equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and service tasks including oil changes, brake system evaluations, air and cabin filter replacements, and tire inspections for wear and pressure on company passenger vehicles Perform visual inspections of returned ISO tanks and chassis. Document findings and conduct maintenance such as chassis greasing, lighting system repairs, and electrical wiring troubleshooting. Replace critical components on a scheduled basis, including: Manhole gaskets Butterfly valve seats Remove, replace, and reassemble magnetic switches to ensure correct system operation. Refill and maintain air conditioning refrigerant levels as needed. Perform visual inspections of forklifts and complete safety and compliance documentation. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience in vehicle or industrial equipment maintenance preferred. Experience with ISO tanks and chassis maintenance is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work shifts or weekends if required. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment maintenance or repair. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with electrical systems, hydraulics, and welding techniques is preferred. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints related to equipment maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues across departments.
