Job Title:

Emergency Vehicle Technician Supervisor Georgia’s, fastest growing, vehicle outfitter for timely installations. The Emergency Vehicle Technicians (EVT) Supervisor we accept will be skilled professionals with experience working with 12V systems; lighting, audio systems, radio systems, as well as, fabrication and installation of a variety of accessories. The EVT will be a self-starter, open-minded to build on their skills, and a problem solver who works well within in a team environment, and individually without constant supervision. The EVT role offered is full time, on-site at our Columbus, GA Facility, and the EVT must be available weekdays and occasional Saturdays as demand dictates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work well within a close knit team, while being able to work solo on one-off projects. Perform installations of products according to specifications and guidelines. Participate in pre-production walkarounds to ask questions, know the manhours allotted to the build, gather install locations, confirm the wiring plan, flash patterns, and programming. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on installed products to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot technical issues effectively using diagnostic equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and fabrication tasks. Make sure daily that the work environment is kept safe, clean, free of trash, and organized. Spread the knowledge. Teach what you know – Learn what you don’t. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

12-volt systems – automotive electrical knowledge (+1 years). Emergency lighting installation experience (+1 years). Emergency Vehicle Technician certification (Current & Valid). Strong mechanical knowledge. Understands diodes and resisters; can explain their proper use and functions. Able to strip out and reinstall the interior of a vehicle without causing damage. Understands / operate a multimeter, power probe, test light, DMM, and other diagnostic equipment like ohmmeters. Able to professionally crimp, solder, heat shrink, loom wires. Fabrication and modification of new and existing bracketry. Basic assembly and dis-assembly knowledge. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for installation tasks. Vehicle maintenance experience is a plus. Ability to effectively communicate. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must have a clean criminal record and pass a thorough background check. Participation in drug screening program to promote a drug-free work environment. Participation in company cultural assessment.
