The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems, ensuring that vehicles are safe and performing optimally. The Automotive Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their expertise to provide high-quality service to our customers. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during repairs. Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Assist in auto body repair tasks when necessary, ensuring vehicles meet safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Experience This position is for an Automotive “B” Technician. Candidate should be able to perform routine repairs such as check engine light diagnosis, troubleshooting leaks, noises, and other routine tasks. This position is not for inexperienced lube technicians. You should have at least 4 years of experience with vehicle repair. Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic is mandatory. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose automotive issues accurately. Familiarity with automotive service procedures and industry standards. Experience working with dealership environments is a plus but not mandatory. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools effectively. Knowledge of automotive repair techniques, including both mechanical and electrical systems.
