Job Description:
Sparrow Company partering with Labrie are looking for a Chassis Prep Technician. As a Chassis Prep Technician, you will play a vital role in preparing vehicle chassis for the next stage of assembly. Your technical skills, attention to detail, and dedication to ensuring the highest quality standards will directly contribute to the performance and safety of the vehicles we build. Key Responsibilities:
Install hydraulic systems, wiring harnesses, and fuel lines on class C chassis Move and install components on chassis, ensuring they align with engineering blueprints Install holding tanks and ensure proper functionality Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform basic assembly and fabrication tasks using hand and pneumatic tools Use oxy-acetylene torch and plasma cutter when required
Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience with hand and pneumatic tools Familiarity with power tools and cutting equipment Safety mindset with a focus on quality Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including repetitive lifting and standing for extended periods Ability to read a tape measure and use measurement tools
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, in-person position. The role may require performing other duties as assigned to support the team and organization’s needs. Overtime may be required as part of the role to meet project deadlines.
