Automotive Body Technician Shreve City Collision Center 1010 Shreveport Barksdale Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71105 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with the ability to work on a variety of vehicles. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively transmit information about vehicle conditions and necessary repairs to both customers and team members. If you are passionate about automotive technology and enjoy problem-solving, we encourage you to apply. Duties Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles. Conduct repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to execute repairs efficiently. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to facilitate repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery. Provide estimates for repair costs based on thorough evaluations of vehicle conditions. Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. A valid driver’s license is required.
