Macarthur Drive, Alexandria, LA 71301 Job Summary Walker GMC is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technician Assistant to join our team in Alexandria, Louisiana. This is a full-time hourly position that will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring that our vehicles are repaired to a high standard. The successful candidate will need to have great technical skills, good communication skills, and a strong understanding of the auto industry. Responsibilities Execute inspection and/or diagnosis of customer vehicles Assist Senior Level Technicians with repairs, maintenance, diagnosing Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including engine and transmission Read and interpret written instructions and service manuals Maintain professional relationships with customers and team members Accurately document all services that are performed Stay current with the latest advances in vehicle technology Requirements ASE certification is preferred Mechanical experience knowledge and experience required Knowledge of common auto repair processes and procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders Strong written and verbal communication skills Pay will be based on experience, this is an hourly position. Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm.
