Experienced Technician Baldwin Subaru 1730 N Hwy 190, Covington, LA 70433 Summary Assists with tasks related directly or indirectly to performing service and maintenance on vehicles and supports Management in reaching company goals and objectives. Primary focus areas are (1) diagnosing and repairing customer and inventory vehicles and (2) supporting the needs of the service department. Job Duties Overview Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repairs Examines vehicle to determine if further work is required or recommended Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time Properly documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order Ensures service vehicles are kept clean, locked, and properly parked Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service Follows a quality control process to eliminate comebacks Keeps shop and work areas organized and clean Upholds customer service scores above the national average Updates job knowledge by maintaining all applicable courses, attending service meetings, and participating in training opportunities Completes any additional duties as required by management
