In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting them with their automotive needs. Your mechanical knowledge and expertise in automotive diagnostics will be essential in ensuring that customers receive accurate information about their vehicle’s service requirements. Responsibilities Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs. Provide detailed explanations of services required, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and other automotive maintenance tasks. Utilize your mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Maintain clear communication with technicians regarding customer concerns and service requirements. Document all service requests accurately and prepare service orders for processing. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further concerns. Stay updated on automotive technology trends and service techniques to provide informed recommendations. Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics. Familiarity with various automotive services including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, air brake systems, suspension work, and transmission issues. Previous experience in service writing or as an automotive technician is preferred. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
