Position Description/Minimum Qualifications • Job Overview We areseeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge andexperience in automotive service, including the ability to diagnose andrepair various vehicle systems. This role involves working with powertools and understanding automotive electrical systems, as well asmaintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Duties Performroutine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including carsand trucks. Diagnose issues with automotive electrical systems andutilize schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively. Conductinspections and tests on vehicles to identify necessary repairs orreplacements. Repair or replace components such as brakes, engines,transmissions, and other critical systems. Maintain accurate records ofservices performed and parts used for each vehicle. Collaborate withteam members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaininghigh-quality standards. Stay updated on the latest automotivetechnologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) anddiesel engine repair techniques. Requirements Proven experience as anAutomotive Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop setting. Strongmechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various vehicle makesand models. Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipmenteffectively. Familiarity with automotive service procedures, includingmaintenance schedules and repair techniques. Ability to read andinterpret schematics related to automotive electrical systems. Excellentproblem-solving skills with attention to detail. A valid driver’slicense is required; additional certifications in automotive repair area plus. Willingness to continuously learn about new technologies andrepair methods in the automotive industry.
