Job Description Join a dynamic team that designs specialized communication vehicles for the TV News Industry, Law Enforcement, and Government Agencies. We are expanding and looking for dedicated electrical techs to enhance our workforce. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair customer issues on specialized communication vehicles, including electrical and electronic equipment, electro-mechanical, and vehicle structural problems. Perform vehicle upgrades through undercarriage wiring, mast removal, and rebuilding. Repair alternators and MEPS systems. Build custom roof decks. Regulate satellite technology on vehicles. Install, program, and test equipment for ENG, SNG, and production vehicles. Essential Skills Strong mechanical experience, ideally as an automotive mechanic. Proficiency in troubleshooting and correcting electrical, electro-mechanical, and calibration problems during testing. Ability to work with wiring harnesses, wiring schematics, audiovisual, and radio repair. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have own tools. Journeyman electrician or Apprentice electrician certification is a plus. Why Work Here? This opportunity offers stability in a healthy television news and homeland security market. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
