Job Description
Automotive Glass Technician Jr’s Glass & Windows Lewiston, ME 04240 We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine automotive glass installations and repairs efficiently and effectively. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and have a passion for cars and the automotive industry. We are fast-paced, creative, and a fun “family” type environment. Responsibilities:
Using power tools and hand tools to remove, install, and repair all types of auto glass Assembling and disassembling components as necessary Utilizing ADAS technology to ensure vehicles are equipped with the latest safety features Maintaining a clean and organized work environment Adhere to safety protocols and regulations Keep up-to-date with the latest vehicle models and technologies Communicate efficiently and affectively with clients as well as other staff Hand in all expense receipts to A/P Take proper notes and pictures when and where necessary We are looking for candidates with the following experience. However, we are willing to train the right fit! Experience as a Mechanic or Automotive Glass Technician Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills Familiarity with power tools and hand tools Knowledge of ADAS technology and its applications
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team If you are a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this role.
